Beautiful lake location. Walkable to downtown Geneva and restaurants. We had to change rooms 3 times due to cleanliness of the room, sheets, walls and the toilet not flushing. They only have 1 elevator working. Owners could have a 5 star rating if updates to hotel, maintenance and cleanliness was improved.

Being next to the beautiful lake made me feel like I was transported to somewhere far away. It is so peaceful. The staff are wonderfully warm, too. The food at the restaurant is not to be missed, either.

Dirty, Deferred Maintenance and No Housekeeping

I have stayed at this hotel before and the physical condition, cleanliness and maintenance issues are all significantly worse in just the past 6 months. While service staff were friendly, I was very disappointed to experience unclean bathroom, slow drains in room, dirty conditions, broken elevator, unclean common areas and an overall feeling that ownership has not been investing needed dollars for the regular upkeep of the property. I was not informed on checkin for my 3-night stay that daily housekeeping is not provided and only happens upon special request. I visit the area 4 times a year and will now be looking for a different hotel.

The bathroom was dirty and had not towels. The shower knob fell off so you when you put it on you didn’t know if it was going to be cold or hot water. The indoor pool looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years

The hotel pool was green and had dirt at the bottom of it. Around the pool there was a line of ants. I bought it to the attention of the staff and all they said was we will let the manager know when you leave tomorrow. We were disappointed in that reaponse because we paid good money. When taking a shower the water was slightly cold. This was disappointing as well because we paid more than $200.00 for the room
