Dirty disappointment

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Common areas—lobby, stairway, elevator—were kinda gross and dirty. Room was ok, tho the bathroom door was dirty and the place was rather beat up. It looked like the housekeeper was trying to do her best with the poorly maintained space she was given.

We got a 2 bedroom suite with the kitchen and 2 restrooms. It was for myself my sister and mom .We loved it it was so spacious . This is the second time in 7 days and I’ll be back next week!

Roaches, Scary Elevator, Broken Things, and more

What I found: - Roaches, Texas size, more than I want to count - Elevator with sketchy documentation making scary enough noises for me to take the stairs - So many nonworking things including outlets, lamps, kitchen equipment, clothes washer, workout equipment, too much to list - Weird smell in my room and throughout the hotel, especially bad in the fitness center - Wasps at the pool - Some staff are very nice, but overall management cares way more about money than people (and God help you if any event is happening where they are fully booked) - A constant beeping outside my door which is probably a smoke detector battery needing attention - Loud background including a train and very busy highway - Not the safest neighborhood and lacking the typical spot to put your car while you unload your stuff
So ... the new inspector only gave a sticker and not an actual new certificate for the elevator?

I was online looking for a last minute hotel and chose this one as it was afforadable and looked great from the photos. We showed up the staff was friendly..the check in process was simple and we were given our key room. We got our luggage out from our vehicle and then worked our way over to the elevator..the halls were muggy and hot, the elevator had just been freshly painted so the stinch of the smell of paint nearly left me with a headache. We got in to our room and i think the only thing that bugged me about the room was the couch...the arm rest was all scratched and ripped up as if someone with a cat had stayed there and destroyed it. Other than that I think the cleanliness of the room was good. For breakfast they serve a buffet with a good variety of different options which i though was awesome! Its like everything outside of our room did not have AC running because just as the halls the whole seated area where they serve the breakfast buffet was muggy and hot. I felt myself rushing to eat breakfast just so i could get back upstairs to the AC. This hotel can use some love and care, some AC out in the halls and maybe some renovations but other than that...it gave me and my family a place to sleep for two nights...so cant complain. Will I recommend the hotel to family and friends...probably not.

This hotel is absolutely vile and should be shut down. I stayed at Staybridge Suites Round Rock from 8/31–9/1 with my family, booking two rooms, and what we experienced was nothing short of revolting. The first room was muggy, dirty, and smelled putrid, with hair, stains, and even a massive blood stain on the mattress. The second room had an actual bug crawling on the bed. After complaining, we were bounced from room to room, inspecting more than seven in total, and every single one was a nightmare—filthy linens, mattresses reeking of rot, and one mattress so badly stained it literally looked like a corpse had decomposed in it. This wasn’t an isolated issue but a clear pattern of neglect and filth throughout the entire property. To make it worse, I overheard housekeeping telling the front desk, “they can’t be looking at all the rooms like that,” which proves they know exactly how disgusting this place is and are simply trying to cover it up. This is not just bad service—it’s dangerous, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. The Staybridge Suites Round Rock is a disgrace to the IHG brand, a breeding ground for disease, and an insult to anyone unfortunate enough to book here. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay in this dump.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. As soon as we entered the room we noted multiple areas with obvious pet damage. Our bed sheets were stained in multiple places. Floor were filthy.

This property is pathetic, not cleanliness, very old building and very old items outside in main pathway and everything is old inside the room. Bedroom, Couch and Dining chairs are very old. No proper water flush out in bathrooms and latches in rooms are very old. Overall it’s not even worth for the money you pay, it’s disgusting and even motel is better. Breakfast is kind of motel breakfast and few items are there, not good food, utensils are not cleaned properly and old. PLEASE DON’T BOOK THIS SPECIFIC HOTEL…

The staff was super friendly when it came to checking-in! However, we found TWO cockroaches on seperate occasions during our stay. The first night when we checked in, there was one in the bathroom. Since we had arrived late at night and we were only staying one night we decided to thoug it out. The following morning we found another cockroach in the same place we found the first one. Not only this, but as we showered on of my friends saw pieces of the ceiling fall during their shower. Some even landed on his head. The hotel looks nice but it is cockroach infested and falling apart.
