Unfortunately, the tub had no bathtub safety strips or anti-slip mat resulting in me slipping in the shower I received a spiral break of my right femur on October 17, 2025, the night before we were to check out and fly home the next day. I had to be taken by ambulance to a trauma hospital and underwent a 7 hour surgery the next morning. Due to the severity of the injury I was in the hospital 11 days and I am still in a Greensboro hospital's rehab center. I am still unable to return home.My friend who was travelling with me tried to cancel our American Airline flight home due to the unforeseen circumstance but I lost the money for the return flight home for me and my friend. In addition, my friend who was not abandoning me asked Best Western to extend her stay and did not even help her try and find somewhere else or offer to keep all our luggage until she got back from the hospital after my surgery (7 am Saturday morning). Best Western was not concerned I fell in their shower and an ambulance was picking me up at their facility. They did not even fill out an incident report, despite having to take off the bathroom door to extricate me. I have racked up thousands of dollars in medical and other expenses. It will be at least two months before I am able to put any weight on this leg and2025 9 I am not sure how financially I am going to be able to navigate this.

Staff incorrectly identified our dates and asked us to leave early even with a reservation. The surrounding area is full of drug addicts and other unsafe condo around the building. It’s cheap but at what real cost. Construction was happening starting at 7:30 am with no notice. I would never stay here again. My car is better

Room was absolutely horrific. Dirty is just the beginning. Shower was not working at all and I had to have rooms changed to one that had a working shower. That new room was just as dirty and all the bathroom fixtures were old and about to come off the walls. Just so very disappointed and upset at this stay.

Homeless everywhere and coming through the parking lot asking for handouts. Also dog was allowed to go in the breakfast area and right beside tables while everyone was eating and definitely was not even a service dog. Just someone's huge pet dog. Carpets in hallways dirty and stained.

The front desk person was delightful, despite a line of guests wanting to check in at one time. Very professional and friendly. The room was less delightful. It REEKED of cigarette smoke, had no hair dryer, no coffee maker. It was clean, though.

Homeless everywhere and asking for handouts. Dog was allowed in walking pass tables where people were eating and around the food area that wasn't even a service dog of any kind at all. Was a very large dog. Pitbull was running lose outside the on the second night. Felt like a very unsafe area with that and all the homeless. Also lack of parking.

The property needs an update and a good cleaning. Carpets were gross & there were repairs needed everywhere. The gentleman with short hair and dreadlocks at the front desk was incredible. He was very helpful, friendly and is an asset to your company.
