Very clean and a decent amount of space. Pretty location, but not all rooms have views. Most face a parking lot. Beds were hard and linens scratchy. We stayed in the Kirkjufell guesthouse. There were 5 bedrooms with a shared kitchen/eating area. Most of the other guests were quiet in the morning but you need to prepare for this common cooking space - most people were making their own breakfast right outside our room. The property was clean and adequate - we were just passing through. But I wasn’t prepared for the shared cooking/eating/lounge area.

The views from this place were incredible! And the room had floor to ceiling windows to enjoy it! The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Lots of room In the double kitchen for multiple people to cook. We loved our short stay here.

The rooms are around an inner area that has the two kitchen blocks and seating for dining. Very nice and convenient. Enough outlets next to the bed. Everything is new and in excellent working condition. There is even a dishwasher. Coffee for the coffee maker is provided as well as filters. The property is a little outside of town and has great views. Highly recommend and would go again. Most convenient accommodation of our Iceland trip.

We stayed for one night and it is in great location with beautiful views of Kirkjufell mountain and lake. It was so serene, close to town and I highly recommend this place.

The room and service was very good. They staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the hot side, but I believe that this was true of all the hotels we stayed at. It’s due to not having a/c and the sun never really setting. Besides this, it was a good choice. It’s very close to Kirkjufell mountain and waterfall, which is wonderful. The sea is right next To the hotel and there is another waterfall right next to the hotel. All in all this was a great find.

We had a one night stay with family. We arrived after 9 pm and all necessary info for check in was posted for us. Beautiful surroundings, warm, welcoming room with well equipped kitchenette. Check out time at noon was very appreciated, we needed our beauty sleep on our first night in Iceland. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

This apartment was a great one nightvstay for us. Would've been a great place for more nights because of the extra space, the kitchen and living areas and the wonderful view! We stayes in apartment #1 and it looked right at Kirkjufell!
