Pool renovations going on, drilling at 8am. I booked this 7 months before coming, and all the hotel did was advertise that work would be happening on their site, not warn guests with an existing booking. My son nearly drowned in the alternative pool they offer at Queen Kapilani, everyone just stood around drinking their beverage watching as I pulled him quickly from the pool because it is in an adult bar. I do not recommend Hyatt I had such a terrible time and sleep here, construction noises all through out the night, and I still do not have the deposit back nearly 2 weeks later which was confirmed with Leslie from Hyatt Place over the phone 13/05 11:42pm that I would get this back for the noise issues. Still nothing.

It was very nice experience staying in Hyatt place Waikīkī, staff was very friendly and helpful especially Dino was extremely helpful and kind to make our stay very special. I would highly recommend everyone for this place. I only think that parking should be free for the guest and a bit cheaper as we are already paying 0therwise excellent place.

The staffs at this hotel are very accommodating, nice, and friendly. The only thing I would change will be breakfast. We stayed here for 7 days, and breakfast was ok. Not much of a selection, but it is doable. I guess they have to cater to all different types of guests. I would have loved to see more meat options, or different breakfast menu’s everyday. Eating the same thing, it got boring, so we went out to eat for breakfast to have some different options. Overall, it was a great stay.

This was amazing trip and the hotel was perfect. We had a king bed room facing ocean. It truly was awesome. The breakfast included was perfect as well. I only have one complaint. It was us two and we brought are 14 year old grandson , I think the room was to small for 3 grown people and luggage and souvenirs. Thank you for a perfect stay

Our family stayed for 7 nights. The location was perfect for walking to the beach, the zoo and getting in and out of the city (we had a rental car). They have a really nice breakfast each morning with rotating options of the main dishes. The 2-queen bed with pull out sofa room was huge and had loads of space for the 5 of us! We definitely stay here again.

Honestly hotel was bad. Checked in the room and the sheets were not changed had to ask for sheets I took pictures the sheets were stained brown and breakfast wasn’t good either. Great location close to beach and stores only good thing about hotel.

Its on the edge of the wikiki main street. Walkable if you enjoy walking! Really close to the beach tho! Daily housekeeping is nice. Check in was easy and smooth and the receptionists are nice.

The rooms were spacious and it was located at a very central and convenient end of Waikiki. It's not a large city, so everything is walkable distance from the hotel- beaches, restaurants and shopping . My only complaint is that we paid extra for a ocean view room and all we got a balcony facing the side street view but a window looking toward the ocean. I hardly call that 'ocean view " to justify the extra charge. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Good breakfast spread each morning.

This experience was terrible. First of all, we booked an ocean view room, but we couldn't see the ocean view when we got to the room. Secondly, there was no shower gel and facial tissue. The bottles and boxes were empty. We asked for shower gel and facial tissue, but no one came to refill them until we checked out.
