A wonderful and charming hotel..

A wonderful charming hotel that feels more like a beautiful period home. Staff are wonderfully attentive, food was delicious and what a great listening to Tony’s piano in the evenings.

The hotel and staff are amazing. A little quaint at first but that definitely grows on you. Tony the pianist was fantastic and played almost 5 hours solid with just a very short break. Reception area for check in/out is very odd like you are not sure you're doing things right. Breakfast was a major disappointment - the full Scottish was stingy in portion size (half a slice of bacon, skinny sausage and dry potato scone) and the guacamole for eggs benedict seemed shop bought. The room, gardens and surroundings were beautiful. Will come back but little areas to improve on.
