The furniture was very broken. There was half done repairs in the room and inadequate materials used to do repairs. The door was very difficult to lock the state of disrepair in the room did not make me feel comfortable or that the place was actually clean. There was feces on the toilet bowl. The heat did not work in the room and I slept with my coat on.

Room was dated, but clean. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Easy parking right in front of our unit. TV was a bit difficult to operate. Could use more pillows of different densities.

Make sure you get your deposit back

Make sure the hotel refunds your credit card deposit. Hotel kept my deposit until I called the hotel 1 week after I left. Once on the phone, the hotel lady asked for my credit card 3 digit code claiming she needed it in order to "cancel the transaction." Which is not true! Not proper.

I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again. It is close to a nice neighborhood with restaurants and bars and even a park with waterfalls for hiking. It was affordable but it was not exactly quality room. My room could use some upkeep with some of the trim that was taken off where there was a water leak in the bathroom and the bathroom in general could use a makeover. But still the bed was comfortable and the blankets were clean and I did not feel like this was a divey place. I didn't spend much so I didn't expect much but I will say that the people who check me in were very nice and I felt comfortable and at ease right away. For the money as long as you have realistic expectations this is good bang for your buck.
