The hotel fixtures are a bit run down, but that is the only thing negative I could find! Lucy and her colleagues were beyond excellent! They were very helpful and when our tv didn’t work they had a new one installed before lunch. They also went out of their way to make special bus and taxi arrangements for us. They also exchanged our $ with no fee! It felt like a little home away from home. And right near all the action! You Can walk everywhere.

The hotel need major update, bathroom faucet and shower not working, shampoo and body wash are old (smelly and foul odor). Housekeeping is minimal, only replacing the towels and make bed, no cleaning at all (the piece of bandage belong to the previous guess was never taken away for the duration of our four night stay!). The pictures on Expedia are misleading!!!

The room was very old compared to the photos on the website. The showers had very little water coming out. The TV wasn’t working but it was replaced with a new smart TV the next day. I didn’t have any city view as mentioned in the description or photos. The view was of a confined space between other buildings. There is no restaurant or fireplace as showing in the room details. The only good thing we liked was the staff specifically Lucy who took good care of us that made up for the issues with our room. She was very friendly, recommended places to eat, to visit, and also booked a great tour package to Halong bay at a very good price.

On arrival we were told the air con in our room was faulty and asked to use a temporary room and return in an hour - fine we went out to eat. When we returned after over an hour it still wasn’t fixed and were asked to wait a further 30 mins. The room was OK but not superb, but for the price was fine

The property is in a great location, close to the old quarter and right next to St. Paul’s Cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had a late night arrival. The was quite large had a nice view overlooking the street. It was somewhat noisy at night with motorbikes and cars passing by and the bathroom could benefit from a deep clean. The price was fair for what you get.

Helpful staff. Close location to many places in the historical district. However, the room is not nearly as nice as the pictures lead you to believe. It’s kind of run down. The AC worked, it was clean enough and it was safe. That’s all that mattered to us. The old saying ‘You Get What You Pay For.’ is still true!

Convenient hotel near the big church

This is my second stay at this hotel. Even though the room had a nice big window this time, the condition was quite run down with cracks on the floor and dusts on the chaise. I was told they were thinking about renovation for this room. The reception staff were lovely, the young lady changed the fridge for me as the one in my room was not working. The size of the room is comfortable as I booked for a bigger size room. The location was great as it was 5mins walk to Hoan Kiem lake and had lots of eateries nearby.

Nice mini hotel in an excellent location, 3 mins walk to the church and 5mins to Hoan Kiem lake. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I booked a big room so the size is spacious, good WiFi and lovely staff. I would stay here again.

The room was poorly maintained with broken flooring. The shower smelt bad and there were bugs. We complained and the receptionist offered a slightly better room but there were still bugs and so we immediately left and went to a different hotel. I am surprised this is rated above 9.0 on Hotels.com

The best part about this hotel was Lucy, her excellent service and genuine interactions to help ensure our stay was great made our stay at this hotel worth it. The AC was super helpful and worked well too! Breakfast was not included however many places were near to eat. The hotel was located at a good spot.

Property is very out dated and dirty. The wallpaper of the room is ripped, and the floor are very dusty and dirty. I don’t think the rooms have been thoroughly cleaned. Very disappointed with my visit as I expected it to be a lot better condition. The photos of the hotel did not capture this at all.
