Middle of the road…

This was a last minute booking due to my daughter winning a game and having to play the next day. The office chair was disintegrating, as are the light blocking curtains. They replaced the chair and apologized. The room is clean, mattress covered in plastic so no danger of bed bugs but hot to sleep on. Mattress is fairly comfortable, not the worst. $20 extra for fire stick. No late checkout without fee which is almost the price of another night stay.

The hotel was good enough until we asked to cancel our last night due to a family emergency in Florida. Expedia had no problem with the refund but the hotel got in the way. I even talked to the manager and while nice would not budge. She claimed to have given me 5k points but I have yet to see them. Apparently you need to make your plans with the hotel directly because they state it cannot happen with a 3rd party involved..... remember I said Expedia had no issue with it... As such I'm confused! Be careful!

Overall it was a little dated and not as nice as some of the other hotels in the area that I have stayed at. The room was ok, however the bed was hard like sleeping on a piece of wood and the other floor guests were very noisy into the early morning hours. I probably would not stay here a second time.
