Book Houlton hotels

Renee at the front desk is amazing! Helpful, accommodating and informative! She helped us out when there was a small situation with not having the room we reserved because they were so booked and she was able to reserve our room on the same floor as our family who was traveling with us. The gentleman at the front desk was also very kind and friendly but we didn’t catch his name. The staff in the restaurant, for breakfast, were also very friendly and accommodating, as well. Very sweet employees were on staff during our long weekend. The rooms were clean and stocked for our stay, the bed comfortable and had a full size couch/pull out bed. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 10 mile radius (which is a small hiccup because the airport and Mall of America are a few miles outside of that). We used the shuttle 2 different days to take us to the music festival we were there for and both gentlemen were very kind, friendly and safe drivers. The kids reported the pool was on the small side but not many are there specifically for the pool, so it’s a nice bonus to even have one and a hot tub. Despite the hotel being full, it was still quiet and our sleep was never disrupted. We stay at Double Tree Hiltons a lot when we travel and we were pleased with this one, too. Great room in a unique boutique hotel with a fascinating history. Breakfast was nothing special but a notch above average. Room had a couple minor issues with shower door. The handles were loose and the glass had moved slightly in the top hinge, preventing the for from closing completely. Both of these could be fixed with simple tools (Phillips screwdriver and a hex wrench). Hotel needs to pay attention to these details to maintain a reputation as a top notch facility.

Bed was very comfy and clean!!! Would like tostay agin sometime.

Amazing stay!

A clean and relaxing place to stay.

My kids loved the pool. While surfing the channels- we didn’t see any kid friendly shows on cable but the WiFi was workable for my kids to be on their electronics. Breakfast and coffee was delicious!
