The room was beautiful, facing the pacific ocean with wonderful sunset views. Loved the record player and that we could borrow records from the front desk. The pop up they had on the outdoor patio was so cute, sadly due to a private event we couldn't enjoy it much. The social hour was great and very enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was good as were the cocktails. I wish the valet wasn't so expensive, but we were next to the beach so I guess that is to be expected. All in all I would come stay again in a heartbeat.

Amenities are delightful - welcome refreshments, s'mores kits, hot chocolate bar, fruit infused ice water carafes, scooters, bikes. Room service and carry out prices are the SAME for Pacific Hideaway! Staff are excellent. I gave 4 stars, because I pulled out the sofa bed, ready to collapse, and found no bedding. 3 phone calls and an hour later, bedding was delivered. I have never needed bedding delivered. Easy beach/pier walk.

The heater is blasting cold air. The technician says there is no Freon in the system and he can’t do anything. The front desk said they’d give us a new room, but when we were ready to move they said they sold the room to a new guest and all rooms were taken. We’ve slept with no air or heat. It was a bad experience last night. I can’t wait to get out of here.

We appreciated the efforts to make it “an experience” instead of just a hotel. The staff was professional and courteous. A little too dog-friendly for me, but I understand a lot of people like that. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
