Great if you just need a place to stay

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by plenty of food and shopping options, but the rooms themselves were not great. They weren’t very clean, they only seemed half finished, the mattresses were kind of hard, the walls weren’t very soundproof, and it had the vibe that they spent as little money on the room as possible. The only rooms that had refrigerators and microwaves were on the top floor which you had to pay to upgrade to, which didn’t end up being an issue for me, but it was inconvenient. If you just want a room in a good location, this is a pretty good option. However if you’re looking for something a little more comfortable and/or luxurious, this is not the place. I barely spent time in the room so it was perfect for me!

The hotel itself is in a really terrific area. The lobby is nice, check in was easy, and the on site parking was great. Having said that, our room ranked pretty low. The beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. There was a spot for a mini fridge, but it seemed as though it had been removed and then not replaced. There were no vertical mirrors in the room and that was annoying when trying to do outfit checks as we were in Long Beach for an event. The bathroom was also really annoying. The sink area was so low! I’m tall, 5’10”, and the sink came up to just above mid thigh. I literally had to squat down to wash my hands/brush my teeth/wash my face. There was also an issue with the shower draining so you would be standing in a pool of water while showering. I think with some upgrades this hotel could be top notch, but the way that it stands now is just slightly below mediocre.

Great location! Good stay!

Overall this was a good stay the location is great, easy parking, the bed was comfortable. I wish the room had a refrigerator I had to keep getting ice to keep my water cold. My room could use some new paint as there were chips in the paint and the edges of the door was chipped. It could definitely use a refresh. The staff were excellent . They were polite and fast for check in and check out. I do wish the elevator had a key swipe so only those staying there can go up the upper floors. But I did not feel unsafe. As a solo traveler the added security is a great comfort. I would stay here again as the price was very reasonable.

The facility was a bit old but the cleaning staff was FANTASTIC!!!!!! Very clean!!! These hotels around the beach and all the sand. They came and cleaned up and nee towels. Didnt have to ask for new towels or “service at the front desk”. Fantastic.
