As soon as I arrived I knew it was not going to be a good stay. The facility overall was very outdated. The room felt muggy and had a bad smell like dampness, urine, smoke and dirty. The refrigerator had hair in it and the carpet felt damp. It was extremely noisy at night. I only ended up staying one out of the two nights I booked because it was so bad. Also, when I arrived I was charged a parking fee which came out of nowhere! I’ve been to many places in the dells and nowhere have I been charged a parking fee at a resort or hotel! Please save your hard earned money and go someplace else. This was ghetto.
This property was so extremely crowded and like a literal playground with blaring noise from 6am to after 1am. The pools are all patched on the floor surface looking like they need repairs, not to mention the stench of chlorine is so incredibly strong your eyes start burning when before you enter the swimming areas. Crazy loud activities right next to check in desk in front lobby making it very hard to check in because you cannot hear a thing. We left a day early because it was so bad with kids running, jumping and screaming through hallways day and night. Impossible to sleep even after four calls to complain about noise. We will NEVER return to this waterpark or recommend!!!

We had a great one night stay. Family of 5 celebrating our toddler’s birthday. She was very happy and loved every minute! We looked at 2 nights but adding on the second night more than tripled our total cost because of how expensive a Saturday was. The ONLY negatives were the high room rate and was I didn’t realize that the check in time was a “start time” and that your room may not be ready by then. I thought since you could use the waterpark all day even leading into your check-in that the check in time meant you’d be able to get into your room at that time.

Rip off. You pay a ton of money to stay there and the. When you check in you have to pay for parking and pay for lockers in the water park. Are you kidding me? We will never stay at Great Wolf Lodge again.
No where on Expedia website does it mention $15.00 a night parking fee! I was NOT happy having to pay $15.00 plus tax a night for parking. Expedia needs to list this!

We were in a room next to a maintenance room and a loud air compressor noise went off every half hour all night long both nights when I told the front desk they didn’t seem to care they said we were above laundry and it shouldn’t be noisy after 11 pm but it ran 24hrs every half hour
Rooms were kinda dirty and they had like 5 different school field trips come at once full of high schoolers so the waterpark was so packed we couldn’t even enjoy the park. I get it that you can get day passes for people that aren’t staying but the people that do stay at the resort for $700 can’t even have a good time because they let so many people in at once that aren’t even staying at the resort. We had a way better experience the one in gurnee a few years ago. This was our first vacation in 5 years and spent so much money to not enjoy it at all.
Add ons galore. They think they are NY City and charge for parking in an open huge lot. Unless you have kids dont stay here. Could have saved 100 bucks at a normal hotel in the area. Everything is an add on from there.
The dining options were not the best. Not enough options. The food over priced in the water park area and the breakfast was awful one day. They ran out of food and took a while to replace. They ran out of plates. The food was not the best for breakfast.
For the amount you are paying a night does not Matt h the standard of the hotel. There was hair balls n the carpet. Dirty socks of what I am assuming was previous family tuck by tv stand. Our room was not serviced so I had to flag someone down for fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. Waited 30 plus minutes for an iron. I had to a call room service 3x’s. Kids running up and down the halls late hours and knocking on doors then taking off running wayyyyy passed 11:00 p.m. The pool was out dated, extremely crowded. For 2 nights we paid $560. Expect way more than what we got. Super noisy and almost seems like the children the place. Parent let them run wild all through the entire hotel. Staff doesn’t seem to care.
