We stayed at the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge for 2 separate nights. Once on our 12.05am arrival to Christchurch where Lexi was such a fantastic ball of energy when she came to pick us up from the airport, that she gave us a 2nd wind. We couldn't have asked for better. Later on in the morning, due to a few major hiccups, we had a rocky start to our holiday. I was quite upset but Jacqui was the most helpful, calming & understanding person we could have met. It was as if she was tuned into my anxiety & not once did she make me feel rushed or embarrassed. Without Jacqui I probably would have had a meltdown. Due to the service & positive vibes we received, we decided to stay the night before we went home to Australia. From now on, the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge is our first point of call whenever we go to Christchurch. Thanks Jacqui, Lexi and the other lovely staff (including your beautiful office manager puppy). xoxo

I booked last minute and was really impressed. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a huge TV which was a nice bonus. The property is super close to Christchurch Airport, which made it really convenient for my trip. Staff were friendly, and everything felt safe and quiet with easy parking available. I’d definitely stay here again.

We flew into Christchurch and it was cold and pouring down at 11pm, the hotel shuttle bus picked us up straight away and delivered us to our room, it was quick and easy, our room was warm and cozy.
