Clean room, nice shower, comfy enough beds. Easy to find. Bar in case required. Check-in and staff all good.

Wonderful old hotel with attentive staff, both at the bar and on reception. A very enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay, the staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Staff kept the room well stocked with coffee and biscuit supplies. Really enjoyed our stay.

Overall a really poor experience that I gave the team at the hotel a chance to respond directly but as that was pretty unsatisfactory - Iit should be shared here as potential guests should know. Good stuff: Low price, great staff. Bad stuff: Really dirty room, with someone elses dark black hairs all over the bath and bathroom and clearly had not been cleaned. Conditioner dispenser was broken and just refilled and clearly not checked. Rubbish left in the corridors and strwn around the lifts and not spotted or picked up. General poor smell around the 3rd floor. Room AC had two settings - off or COLD. No controls would work. The general upkeep of the rooms is poor, but I can live with that for a value prices hotel - but the lack of cleanliness isnt acceptible.

Clean, good facilities, nice atmosphere.
