I couldn’t fault the place at all. Emma and Graham are the most attentive hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Welcoming, attentive and friendly. Their home is immaculate. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean. Ample parking in site. I was in Room 2 which faces the road but traffic is so sporadic, noise is definitely not an issue. Bed was superbly comfortable with the most luxurious sheets and bedding. Bathroom is functional and well appointed, with toiletries provided if you forget your own. And so to breakfast. Oh my goodness. The take was literally awash with the most wonderful produce. A beautiful fresh fruit salad and yoghurt, a freshly baked muffin (which was delicious) Porrige and toast was offered which I declined but the cooked breakfast was too tempting. Again, great quality, perfectly cooked and frankly, delicious. This place is an absolute haven. When I next return to Islay, there is nowhere else I would consider staying - huge thanks to Emma and Graham. I hope to see you again.

An extremely lovely place to stay on Islay. Hope to come back one day. Emma and Graeme were super friendly. The home and our room was beautiful. The proper Scottish breakfast was also top notch. A wonderful first time B&B experience for us.

Wonderful place to stay in Islay. Cannot say enough good things about decor, food, cleanliness, service and quick responses. Centrally located on Islay with miles of beach nearby. Super easy from Islay airport. Close proximity however I never noticed any airport or road noise. Most relaxing stay I have had in a long time. Emma and Graeme are perfect hosts!

Everything about our visit to Glenegedale House exceeded expectations---the property is lovely and inviting, the owners gracious and helpful, the meals truly special! I doubt we would have been taken care of half as well at a more corporate property that would have charged twice as much. While location is a bit remote (in the best possible way), the setting is beautifully tranquil, transportation to towns and other local attractions is easily arranged. Such a special place!
