Perfectly fine for a budget stay…wonderful front desk staff and excellent breakfast offerings. Concerns: There is no security to the rooms outside of the locks within the individual rooms. Otherwise, anyone can enter the halls 24/7. Breakfast area is very congested — possibly due to the fact that there are too many tables with four chairs each and the table odd actually narrower than two chairs side-by-side. Perhaps, management should consider making some tables deuces versus four-tops to open the space a little. Beds are in a sad state — no support, at all. But more importantly, the rooms do not feel clean. We never walked barefoot. The housekeeping vacuum path is clear, as indicated by the blackness of the carpets around the walls, beside the beds, behind the door. That color Is caused by filth buildup. Management should consider inspecting rooms occasionally…gives the housekeeping staff more time to clean each room or provide more training… clean the perimeters and most importantly, while the habit is to keep the door open while cleaning, remember to shut it so you can vacuum behind it. Otherwise, linens and bathrooms felt very nice and clean. I would go back — but only when I have someone to stay with me and I have slippers for the rooms.

Love the Best Western Ithaca hotel. Rooms are always clean and the entire staff are welcoming. Love the all day hot tea and coffee provided for free too all guests. Had an issue with thermostat in my room, the heat never cut off. It was stuffy and warm. Turned on the fan and AC…and they also never cut off. Difficult to regulate temperature in the room.

Very close to waterfalls, Cornell campus, restaurants. Our bed was comfy, fireplace and Jacuzzi were great additions. Breakfast options were great, clean and well attended. Sadly our non-smoking room and towels smelled like cigarettes. Our shower pipes were loose, drippy and hard to control temperature.

Price is Right Hotel

This is the second time I stayed here. The best thing about this place is the location being just a 5 minute drive to Cornell University. The breakfast was good , and had a number of choices. The price was always right here. Cheap , not fancy , motel type . Had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. My only complaint about this place is, the outside doors that lead into hotel are not card locked. So anyone off the street can walk into the corridors at any anytime. Which raises security concerns.
