Placed us in the first floor where the live music and noises from the lobby traveled perfectly into our room all day. There was no TV remote. It was just an unsettling time.

Already shared that one of our beds had been laid on. For follow up, the tv remote was not provided to us until the night before we left (tv on a welcome screen the whole time) and we received no housekeeping service on Day 2 (ie no clean bath linens) so had to request at the desk. According to staff, they could not “do anything” for me because I “booked through Expedia.” Ok, Expedia, what are you going to do to make up for an expensive rotten experience? Are properties really limited as to what they can do for you? Sounds like the money goes through you!

Park at Your Own Very Real Risk

The first night of our two-night stay, someone broke out the rear passenger window of our truck and put multiple cracks in the front passenger window while it was parked in the hotel parking lot. The thieves stole insignificant items from the vehicle. Outside temperatures were freezing and below, and we were hours from home. Since it was Sunday, we were unable to have the windows replaced. We felt uncomfortable parking our unsecured vehicle in the parking lot overnight again, especially since the hotel has no surveillance cameras covering their parking lot. So, facing a cold and noisy trip home, we asked if the hotel would cancel the second night of our stay. We were lead to believe they would, so we left shortly after normal checkout time. To date, the hotel has not refunded us for the second night. They did go ahead and charge us for a bag of chips and some beef jerky we picked up from their shop. Additionally, another guest’s car disappeared completely from the parking lot that same night. We don’t know the circumstances around that, but we got the feeling this is not completely unusual.

The room was 250 dollars and the television did not work. The desk ladies did all they could. Gave me 3 different remotes and a set of batteries so I could figure it out. They agreed to give me credit, but since I used Expedia, I was out of luck. They did comp me my Gatorades.
