Compare Hotels with Parking in Kenai

We stayed twice. Both in the middle of the week. The first room was in the hotel part. It had been updated and was nicer than I expected. The next week I thought we would get the same or very similar room based on my online experience. It was more money, but I credited that to being closer to the busy season or because I booked closer to the time we would stay. It was not the same room. The second time the room was in the outdoor entrance motel part. It was not as well-kept or updated, yet it cost more. Both rooms were relatively clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good for the cost of the stay.

The room were clean and very well kept but did not have enough towels in the room, the mattresses were awful. Over all good for and over night stay.

I booked a room for 3 days unfortunately I was unable to call to address that I’d arrive late due to being stuck in a remote area for work. When I arrived they had canceled my reservation even though I prepaid for 3 days! they refused to rebook me a room or refund my prepayment. I had to book a new hotel elsewhere.

The lobby was very dirty, no elevator, inside entrance. When we entered the room it was very dated, the floors were dirty, garbage under the bed making it obvious that there had not been a thorough cleaning and there was a strange smell. We checked out immediately and although challenging because everywhere was booked found a B&B for our stay. The hotel clerk was helpful in checking out and they did not charge us.

Old building with a musty smell. The beds/blankets/pillows were old and uncomfortable. We were not able to adjust the room temp at all. We found mouse poop in our room. The floor was not level. Location was fine though it was strange that it was in a strip mall style building with no attendant on site. I won’t stay here again. If the options are to stay in this hotel or sleep in my car, I would probably sleep in my car.
