Great location, clean hotel

Great location and very nice room. The self serve bar was nice in that it allows maximum freedom. My only complaint is that it took a while to realize that you press L to go up to reception. No other elevator buttons will work and you enter from a side street and down a level from reception.

This hotel was amazing! There was a record bar in the hotel, free welcome drinks, and a bath! The room was clean and comfortable and they had lots of self serve amenities as well as a great location. This will be my go-to for Kyoto!

Great location - right off of a busy street but still very quiet. We loved how close it was to Nishiki Market and Gion area. The rooms are very, very small, but typical for being in Japan. We had the Wellness Breakfast Buffet and it was great! Lots of good choices for breakfast - Western and Japanese. We were traveling with 2 older parents and it wasn’t really conveniently located for getting to train stations unfortunately. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the ambience.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Kyoto. Spacious rooms, clean, great water pressure, great AC. The only negative is a lot of loud local vehicles actively trying to be as loud as possible. Not much the hotel can do about that, though. It’s not constant, but frequent enough that it’s bothersome.

The Best Spa Hotel

We enjoyed our stay. This is our second trip to Japan and our second time staying here. It is in the heart of Kyoto. Down the street was Nishiki Market and Gion District. The Spa shower and bidet toilet was so amazing that I didn’t want to leave. They give you free amenities, beer, and wine. Love this hotel.

Fantastic Music Themed Hotel

Beautiful hotel with a music theme done tastefully. Everything was great from the staff to the amenities. Pillow and mattress was a bit firm but would definitely stay again.
