Consistently good, but shower head too low

This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Queensbury Hotel. Room was fine, however the shower this time had a super low shower head. Anyone 5' 8" or taller would have to stoop to get under the shower. This has not been a problem in the past.

The property was clean and neat, customer set was excellent. My only dislike was it was a bit noisy from the outside traffic noise but I guess that's what you get when you stay in town.

The Queensbury is an excellent hotel. The location is great, parking is abundant and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated, but it did take a full 5 minutes for the hot water to reach the shower. While each room has an individual AC / Heat unit, this system does run frequently and can be a bit loud in the room.

‘Just’ ok!

The bathroom was tiny and the bed was ‘just’ ok. The description said the beds were very comfy but that was not the case. The atmosphere was nice with live music and placed right in town.

Check-in was 4pm. Was unable to check in until 5pm. We had dinner reservations already made for 5pm. Hotel allowed late check-out of other guests that affected our check-in time. Hotel claimed it was due to the hockey team playing that night.
