Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch turned out to be the a wonderful, much appreciated, last minute substitute for our 2 boys to wrap up summer before getting ready to go back to school. We had planned and reserved accommodations on the Guadalupe river near Hunt. While our thoughts and prayers are with everyone effected by the flood, we are vert thankful you provided us with the perfect back-up plan..... Thanks

Kids Had a Blast - Will Return!

The resort itself is like a hidden gem. I almost don't want to tell everyone I know about it because it had the perfect ratio of people at the pool and the lazy river at all times of the day. We had a mishap and weren't able to get into our room at the guaranteed time of 4pm and they did give us a credit which was very kind. The food overall wasn't amazing - it was typical resort food. The drinks were good, and the service was great. There are several places nearby that are worth the quick drive to sit down and have a meal. The only thing I would have liked to experience differently was just the explaining of how things worked. I think because I was a Hyatt Reward Member there were some assumptions of my knowledge, but there were a lot of things we had to figure out on our own, location, whether or not we needed our own of anything, the towel drop off, what all they had to offer. BUT all that to say, my kids both told me this was way better than being at home playing video games with their friends so I call that a 10/10 win - we will be back!

Loved the kid activities at camp armadillo, enjoyed some of the changes made, n how much cleaner n updated it felt this time around. Only complaints are the small store they got rid of where we usually purchased essentials. We also miss the outdoor theater being on the lawn and not in the pool area. Also the tub/shower combo in our villa was so high n hard to climb into it was really a safety hazard. A small bench would hv helped.

Just some way to freeze things would be nice. We were gone all day for Air Force graduation and needed to freeze ice packs for our cooler so we could have cold waters. Other than that, we have a perfect stay. I understand you can’t have everything for everyone.

Very clean and great room! Freezer didn’t work and we were there for ten days. Checked in, brought groceries back and put them away. Next day had to throw away all frozen foods. Front desk lady said she had no other room to put us in. Wasted over a hundred dollars in groceries. Then, they cut water off at night and the loudest banging at at 0215. We ordered food on another day and they served us mold filled fruit. Three issues in 10 days and was given $150 off the total.

This property is beautiful, family friendly! Staff is amazing, Food and drinks are amazing. The room was very clean and was equipped with all the things needed to make our stay very comfortable. Housekeeping/ Wait staff were spectacular, friendly and very helpful. My critiques are that some of the amenities close a little early. The Lazy River closes at 8pm, staff start to clean up earlier than 8 and ask you to leave. Sauna was out of order and check out is a little earlier 10am than most properties. I would however, highly recommend this resort.
