The staff at the front desk is exceptional and accommodating. They we're helpful and really nice. The cleaning staff is rude, they do not clean properly. We had to switch rooms 3 times. The first night we were assigned a room and found 2 cockroaches in that room the next morning. Then we were moved to a different room but the keys were not working and we were unable to open the room. There was a lot of inconvenience which was frustrating. The next morning the same room did not lock which made us feel very unsafe. We were assigned to another room and this room was not clean. There were crumbs close to the bed and in the corners. The cleaning staff is extremely rude and did not clean the room when we had requested the same in the morning.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and hoping to stay again! Beds were clean and comfortable, quiet hours enforced! It’s clean, large room, and breakfast was great, had many choices of gluten free and other breakfast items! There were soaps, amenities, WiFi, hair dryer, refrigerator, and hangars to hang up clothes, even an iron! Loved the shower heads and hot water in the bathroom! Staff were friendly and were around 24/7! The parking lot was well lighted and Friendly’s Restaurant was right across the street! Large selection of drinks, coffees, teas, available 24/7. ♥️♥️🥰

Perfect for weekend trip

Good location. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and was perfect for a weekend trip. The lobby gave out free water bottles, which was appreciated.

Stayed for 3 nights. No Hot water in the rooms. When we talked to the front desk about it, their answer was just: “ You are the 7th person to say that today.” No response about it when we spoke on the second day. The problem was never solved. Most probably will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. PD, our stay was during a snow storm when outside temperatures were below 0 Deg.

Favorite Hotel in Lancaster

We always try to stay at the Avid when we go to Lancaster. The location is great, the place is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. They offer free breakfast, free parking, and 24/7 complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. 24 hour fitness room, and an indoor pool just round out the great amenities.

The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was nice to have. I definitely will return. Front desk was great upon check in and check out. The hvac was a bit loud but it was still great.
