Disappointing

I've stayed at La Quinta Inns before and was expecting something much better. The Inn is old and our room had multiple maintenance issues, especially in the bathroom. The parking lot was dirty, with full trashcans. Breakfast was disappointing, with limited options. They were still slowly putting items out, even though we arrived well after the breakfast start time.

Never again will I book at La Quinta inn in Laredo Texas and neither should you. Not because of the hotel but because of the staff. The man at the front desk I did not get his name but has a tattoo on his hand tried talking no not tried he spoke to my me and my wife as we were dumb . I understand we have to pay a deposit he explained it as apples and bananas or oranges like we did not understand. Sir I have booked in hotels all over the USA. Anyways when I came back with cash deposit he said he had canceled it. Very disappointed with the staff. He said his manager told him to cancel. I did not speak with management and am not thank you Expedia for clearing up mistake. If u go to Laredo TX avoid La Quinta Inn as they say no bueno. Again not the hotel itself the staff!!!

Heater rattled but wasn’t bad at first. Overnight it got progressively worse until it sounded like a lawn mower in our room. We eventually at 2 AM just turned it off.

The room smelled dirty ac unit was loud and when heater was on it smelled like smoke, sink was broken faucet was lose bath tub was lumpy and tub faucet was all loose. Bed sheets felt dirty and room over all was not well taken care of.

DONT STAY WITH FAMILY!

The room smelled like wet dog with mold and mildew on the tub and stained sheets. The front desk staff was uncurteous and unhappy there. I wasn’t able to have breakfast, because the front desk clerk was arguing with a guest, I honestly thought this would escalate to a confrontation and decided to have breakfast at Dennys. The room was cheap, so if your ok with smelly rooms, dead roaches outside your room and a confrontational staff, this may be the right place for you.
