I was a little worried because of the mixed reviews, but we had a great stay at Embassy Suites. Our kids enjoyed the view of the pond from our room to watch the ducks and geese swim around. If you exit the hotel on the second floor, you can walk right across to the small strip mall that has a bookstore, restaurant, and other small shops. We took advantage of the welcome reception in the evening (two adult drinks or sodas and small snacks like vegetables and dip or chips). The breakfast was delicious and expansive with made-to-order omelets. My husband already said this needs to be our go-to place in Lexington.

Wonderful hotel, perfect for people traveling with dogs. Hotel was clean, you would never think pets are allowed based on the cleanliness. Suites are clean, spacious, and well kept, and they exceed most ADA standards. Staff was extremely friendly. Hotel was filled with children and families the weekend after Christmas, but everyone was quite. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend.
