Noisy but convenient

Older hotel, very convenient for the train, buses and metro. This has been the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in which is a pity. 1 cup in our room but if we wanted a kettle we would of had to hire it, even Travelodge and Premier Inns provide a kettle. Would look for somewhere with more in the room next time. Plus side Felipe the bat man was brilliant

Nice overnight stay in Lisbon.

Our stay was only overnight from the airport back to the airport. There were two large groups staying which made the dining room extremely busy. Wait staff could not keep up Close proximity to the airport and taxi was reasonable from Hotel Roma

Good location

Good location with good restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. 10 mins to airport - taxi was under 10Euro. Great buffet breakfast.

Initially I thought I’d made a mistake booking here, the outside of the hotel looks dated. But I realized that my initial impression was the actual mistake. Inside the hotel is lovely. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the mattress, pillows, and linens were all top notch. The area is a little noisy, but the double glazed windows cut that down significantly, I never had a minutes trouble sleeping. The staff was very helpful. The lobby looks like it was designed and furnished by Le Corbusier. The breakfast buffet is terrific, the hotel does take in groups, so the breakfast room can sometimes be a little crowded. But even then the staff made sure all the foods were stocked and available. They do have a dinner buffet too, it’s not included in the price of the room. I ate there my first night and thought it was worth the price. The food was well prepared, especially the duck in rice. One last thing, the hotel is situated near a major subway line, so, if you’re someone who is adventurous enough to try foreign public transit, you can get everywhere in Lisbon from the area. All in all I’d recommend this hotel highly.

Intimate very clean, staff welcoming and very helpful. Hotel Roma is one to consider when visiting Lisbon. It allowed me to explore without fear of bag snatching or pickpockets. Without a doubt I’ll be back.
