Okay stay

The positives: great location, good service, coffee pods in the room with a machine. The cons: very dusty room, room was quite small (as small as NYC hotel room), they use a very strong perfume in the rooms when cleaning (nauseating and feels like it burns your eyes and lungs). Overall an OK hotel stay. We stayed 4 nights.

we really enjoyed our stay here from beginning to end; rooms were great ( only lacked the opp to make a cuppa) great beds; really clean; friendly staff who went the extra mile and were very well trained in dealing with people. A great stay in Lisbon

This is a very comfortable and friendly property. The hotel is in a great location -- walking distance to many attractions and close to transportation. Many shops and restaurants are nearby.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights. The location was perfect, equally distanced from points of interests, busy shopping blocks, markets, restaurants, train stations and trolley stops! The rain shower in our room was excellent and alone worth the price of admission. The reception and wait staff were all very friendly and inviting. Strongly recommend staying here if you want to explore Lisbon, Belem, and Sintra.

Perfect hotel for the first-timers in Lisbon

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights for my family. The location was perfect for the first timers in Lisbon. There were tons of good restaurants in the neighborhood yet it was not so noisy at night. It was only 2-minute walk to Arco da Rua Augusta and the magnificent ocean view. Also the reception staff members were very attentive and genuinely nice. The only problem we had was the room cleaning crew came late in the afternoon while we were taking our siesta. We used a shuttle service to the airport. We were told by a lady at the reception that we could pay either by card or in cash but he only took cash. Luckily we had enough cash to pay him.

Perfect stay in downtown Lisbon

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Lisbon, only a five minute walk from the metro station. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, near many of the featured attractions in Lisbon, and within walking distance of many of the best restaurants in town. The staff also offered luggage storage service to me after checkout so that I could spend a few extra hours in the city without lugging my bags around everywhere. If you are looking for a convenient stay near the tourist center of Lisbon, this hotel will be perfect for you.

I decided to stay at the MeraPrime Gold Design Hotel for the accessibility to the city center. When staying here you will find yourself welcomed by the wonderful staff and find it to be very safe and cleanly. I went as a solo woman traveler and didn’t find myself being worried about my stay here. Everything is within walking distance and the staff are always there to help!

Excellent location but rundown condition

The location of the hotel is excellent. All the staff are super helpful and friendly. It’s also thoughtful that they provide and refill one bottle of water in the room everyday. Yet, the condition of the room is quite rundown. The mattress is very old and so too soft that it gave me back pain every morning. The bathroom door lock and the shower switch are out of function occasionally. All the hangers in the room and bathroom are all high up which only fit for people at height 170 cm and above. And the room is really small that there is no desk or table for writing or putting petite stuff. Last but not the least, the room carpet needs deep cleaning or replacement. I dare not walk on it on my bare feet.
