We travel extensively and must say this was one of the most memorable, if not the best, stays. Absolutely beautiful venue, the most accommodating staff, immaculate grounds and fabulous wine.

Exceptional service and an incredibly unique experience staying in a chateau full of historical artifacts and artwork. The staff are obviously passionate about what they do, and go to great lengths to he welcoming and accommodating.The wine tour and tasting was very thorough and equally delicious!

Felt like a “king and queen” staying in the gorgeous chateau! And we’re treated as such by the amazing and attentive staff! The wines produced here are simply delicious! Lovely terraces in which to enjoy them and the beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau. We highly recommend this special place and look forward to when we can return.

Amazing, unforgettable experience

Attentive and knowledgeable staff. A very special stay in one of only 5 rooms, incredible art work, wine and setting. The restaurant served the vegetables fresh from the gardens and they surpassed the meat and fish served as the depth of flavour was incredible . We will never forget our stay at Chateau Pape Clement, truly an amazing experIence which we would recommend.

The hospitality and service was wonderful. We had a lovely tour from David while drinking a glass of their delicious wine. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable!

Staying at Chateau Pape Clement was amazing. The gardens are stunning and the property itself is beautiful. It is absolutely an old chateau and we heard that at some point it belonged to Pope Clement. Regardless, it was a real treat to stay at such a historic beautiful place. The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was scrumptious served inside a dinning room overlooking the gardens. We did a wine tour of the winery and vineyards, and were very impressed by the wines. I would definitely stay here again.

Truly one of the best hotel experiences of my life. The hotel is pure class and luxury at every turn. The rooms are huge and stunning with world class art and decor. The breakfast is delicious. Comes with a wonderful tour and tasting of the winery.

We loved our stay at the Chateau. Helpful, lovely and accommodating staff, particularly David. Clean, unique space. Really special. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. It’s a bit hard to find with the address as a taxi or uber will drop you off at the boutique. Its difficult to get to the Chateau with luggage from there, but we were lucky that both our taxi driver and David were helpful and made sure we got their safely and comfortably.

The Chateau is lovely; the grounds are beautiful; the breakfasts were delicious; the staff was superb. Our room was smaller than we expected, but we quickly got over it because everything else was at such a high level. We also like the fact that Pape Clement is about 20 minutes outside Bordeaux, though access to the city was not much of an effort (sometimes expensive if you don't take the tram to Pessac Centre). The hour-long wine tour was among the best we've every experienced. Highly recommended.

Impeccable! Staff go out of their way. Couldn’t ask for better. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The Chateau is out of another era - the decor, the china, the silverware. Highly, highly recommend
