Rooms bug infested not clean chair stains sheetrock missing where they had been working? Writing on the door trim Had to change the room 4 times .totally not acceptable Didn't stay. Great full for the refund. First time this ever happened to us .

The Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock is unacceptable for the following reasons: The room we were given was absolutely disgusting. There were german roaches on the walls! There was a roach on the wall above the tv. There was another roach on the wall above the headboard of the 2nd bed. The bathroom was disgusting. There were 2 german roaches in the bathroom. One was on the wall, and one was on the floor. There were black stains around the sink, and the toilet/shower area was discolored brown instead of white. The door to the room was severely damaged. There were huge dents on the door area where the locks connect to the door frame. I was definitely concerned that the homeless man outside our door, standing in the parking lot, would be able to break into the room. Immediately, after surveying the room I returned to the front desk and told the man (working the night shift) that the room had roaches on the walls and we would not be able to stay in the room. He didn't seem surprised at all.

Ive been to a lot of bad hotels in my lifetime. But this one takes the cake. 1 of 2 beds were made when we walked in. Blood and boogers on the wall,roaches, our pillows were urine yellow,inside of toilet was moldy and no hot running water. The desk guy offered a other room but that one was even worst with added male fluids in their chair cushions. Go to the free breakfast area after complaining to a new desk person that showed zero care or concern. And we spot a roach crawling on the the wall towards a huge roach nest in the corner of the breakfast area. We have pbotos of everything to prove it. This hotel is a nightmare and to top it off the manager only wanted to deal with us over the phone with the desk lady as a 3rd party messenger offering 50 dollar refund. Baymont and public health services will be contacted. No one should pay 260 a night to stay in a nightmare. Unsatisfied.

This place is a disgrace to even be called a hotel. This place was filthy. The first room I went into they were dead flies in the bed. It smelt like it had never been cleaned or disinfected. As I walked into the bathroom, there was a wet dirty rag in the middle of the floor. The bathroom sink was full of dead insects and a used cup was sitting on the sink. I went up to the front desk and told them that this room was not acceptable very politely and he apologized and gave me a different room on the other side of the complex. As I drove over there, it seemed like no one was staying there. As I walked up to the room, I noticed one door look like it had been kicked in. another door was open, but I think someone was inside. As I walked in that room, it smelt worse than the first one. Went into the bathroom and it was dirty just as well. The beds were made, but it looked like no one had stayed in his room for a while. I went back to the front desk and told him that this isn’t gonna work that I had a son who could not sleep in these conditions due to a breathing issue. The hotel front desk gave me a refund. I contacted hotels.com about the issue. I have not heard back on a refund yet, but if I don’t, I will be contacting my bank. I would stay away from this place as it’s probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.

Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock – Downtown Civic Center: A True American Horror Story Wow. Just… wow. The word “disgusting” doesn’t even begin to describe this place. The room reeked of cigarettes, armpits, and broken dreams. The bedspread looked like it had survived multiple pandemics — COVID, SARS, and possibly the Black Plague. The carpet was torn in several places and looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum since the Clinton administration. None of the lamps worked — which might actually be part of their strategy because darkness is the only way you’d want to see this room. If you’re looking for a place that tests your immune system, congratulations — you’ve found it! One star only because zero stars isn’t an option. On a plus side, they must be so used to people wanting a refund they didn’t even argue with us.

This hotel was extremely unclean and unsafe. The door to the room, while would successfully shut, the doorhandle was severely dameaged. The microwave was filthy. The vent in the bathroom had no cover. There was no remote for tthe TV, when I asked for one it was not delivered until the following day when I asked a second time. I was unable to upload photos.

First room was dirty with trash everywhere, bare bulbs in lamps, smelled like someone died, and unmade bed. Second room had holes in the walls, black plastic stapled above bathroom door, dirty linens, smoke alarm that went off all night, and smelled. Dirty people seemed to be living in hallways/rooms with doors opened. Random animals & people wondering around. Staff dis not speak english. Do NOT recommend!

This property was unsafe and unsanitary! We had to leave! There was clothes going up the stairs the walkway looked broken. The doorway looked like it had been busted in. There was one light and the others were broken. There were absolutely no towels, no toilet paper. The receptionist looked upset when we checked in.

There were things left in the room. Roaches in the bathroom. Staff was great after our misunderstanding. I don’t know about breakfast because I didn’t go. I expected the rooms to be in better shape but they were very run down and not sanitary.

The room smelled like smoke, there were drops of blood in the tub, the carpet had a hole in the middle of the room, there were marijuana stems on the tv stand. The bathroom was falling apart, the door to the closet was laying on the floor and it was so dingy and grimy, it looked like the rooms that are rented by the hour. Horrible
