Sub Optimal for Business Travelers

For a business stay, this hotel is lacking in quiet places to meet. The coffee shop in the lobby is mostly reserved and roped off. The bar/lounge on the 24th floor is so noisy, with the music blasting that it is impossible to meet/talk there. There is much room for improvement there. We ended up meeting outside the hotel, in the mall next door and even going across the street to the Solaire Resort. At the pool deck level we sat at the ‘bar’ and waited 45 minutes before finally asking one of the 2 waitstaff for a menu, in spite of us being the only ones in the place. We then flagged him down to order only to be told the beer taps had no beer. The one positive in all of this is the service in the restaurant at the lobby level. It’s an efficient, personable staff in a well run, busy establishment. For a business hotel, there is room for improvement.

I’m torn. Me and my wife are a victim of false advertising. The pictures for the “suite” are actually the “president suite”. Hotel blamed it on Expedia uploading a wrong pic. The staff offered us a free spa&dinner, but our honeymoon was ruined at that point. Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, but I can’t give a great review now because I have a bit of a legal battle ahead of me. BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE & DONOT book the suite until they fix the website pics.
