I reserved a newly renovated room via Expedia but the other room did not look renovated. The carpets were the same. Bedsheets look old. The reason why we always go back to Manila Hotel is the ambiance at the foyer. I really hope when we come back they give us a true newly renovated room.

Smart but improvement required.

Nice hotel. Extremely large restaurant on ground floor with massive choice from buffet offering. Salads, variety of meats, vegetables, fish, desserts, hot and cold etc.. Room clean and modern. Good TV/ wifi etc. One disappointment _ lovely lobby bar with extensive wine list. Unfortunately didn't seem to have many of the bottles listed in stock .

Worst hotel experience ever! Never again.

I checked in last night at 12 AM and got to bed at 1:30 AM after a long flight. Around 3 am all the lights and the TV turned on and the phone rang and woke us up. It happened four times and it made it impossible to sleep. I called the front desk at 4 AM and they said they would stop doing it. I finally went to sleep around 5:30 AM. When we took a shower in the morning there was no hot water as well. I complained to the front desk and they said they were testing out the generators and there was nothing we do about it. I wish I recorded it but I was trying to sleep. They need to suspend or fire who ever’s decision it was to do that at 3 AM and not in the afternoon when they knew it would reset everything and turn on all lights/TVs/phone systems. Horrible 0 star experience from a “5 star” hotel. The assistant manager spoke with us when we checked out and acknowledged that the phone ringing multiple times between 2 AM - 4 AM and we reminded him that the lights and TV were also turned on. He said they have learned from this mistake and offered a future concession for literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!! Proceed at your own risk.
