Yes! Stay here! Breafast was hearty and affordable. Dinner was delicous and the price is right. Drinks were perfection (prickly pear margarita). Convenience to the Rim was everything my family needed. BEDS WERE THE BEST IVE SLEPT IN. Will stay here (God willing) over and over and over again. Book now. Love love love this place.

Yavapai is VERY convenient for staying at the Grand Canyon. It is a slightly worn down property, but that doesnt mean it isnt great - its just well used and homey. The bed was actually quite comfortable, but the rest of the room amenities felt a bit dated. The staff was helpful in getting us settled.
The dining options near the hotel exist - and are VERY expensive. We dined both at the lodge options and in town. The lodge dining felt very mass produced. It was edible, but not outstanding. There is a market onsite as well with groceries, souvenirs, and drug store items. The food options in town are fairly limited and expensive.
I recommend bringing in what you can for snacks and drinks. We saw elk near the rooms a few times - which was AWESOME.
We would stay here again when looking for convenient and inexpensive accomodation in the park.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was small and very old. It was fine for what it was and a convenient place to stay for the Grand Canyon. If you plan to spend more time in the room, you might want a nicer place.
It was wonderful staying within the park where shuttles were only steps away. The General Store had everything you’d need and the Yavapai cafeteria had delicious hot home style meals for dinner. My room in Yavapai was recently refurbished and was large and comfortable with an excellent bed. The only thing lacking was a microwave in the room. All in all a wonderful experience!!
