Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The lodge itself is well located, but the smell of toilet in the hallway of building #5 was off-putting. Fortunately the room was clean and opening the windows overnight solved the problem. The placement of a loud fan and the use of the ice machine at 4am were quite disruptive to sleep. Nice dining options and gift shop
Very happy to have picked this place! It is inside Grand Canyon Park so you have to buy your park pass to get there, but it is next to food, grocery, and tavern. Best part was walking from lodge to watch the sunset at Yavapai Point!
The room was average but clean. The hallway to get to the room smelled like dirty feet/burnt popcorn and the smell was present throughout our stay. The sheets were itchy although the bed was comfortable
Unfortunately, The check-in process was poor. The lady who was at the check-in desk was rude and condescending. It was not what we were expecting. She made comments that she has been there too long. I felt like I was bothering her.
The room was clean and the property was well maintained.
