Except for not knowing how to work the elevator on arrival (Hint. Scan room key before selecting floor number) everything about this place exceeds all expectations. Upon entering the hotel, it's like you've just gone back 100 years in time to the age of grand travel and grand stays.

Great hotel the room was great with all the amenities. The hotel is easily walkable to great shops, bars, and restaurants. The pool deck is really great with great service and was a great mid-day cool down on a hot day.

From the well kept history to the Southern charm of the employees, our stay was wonderful. Use the personal concierge if you can they are wonderful! Make sure you take a little time to talk with doorman Randy, not only is he filled with joy, but he’s quite an interesting man as well. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with oir experience!

Upon arrival the valet asked me my room number and took my keys without telling me there’s a parking fee, after checking in on our way to our room, the hallway smelled of feces the bellhop said it would be taken care of, but it never was, and finally, the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out during my business meetings. Aside from that the area felt pretty unsafe so I understand that’s not the hotel’s fault.
