The room was very clean and walking distance to some nice cafe’s and restaurants for dinner. Easy check in and room was on the larger side. It’s a very modest hotel but served its purpose for us. I would recommend to anyone needing to stay in this area.

We travelled as a family and this property is spacious and clean. Check in and out was very easy. The parking lot is nice if you have a car. The air conditioning worked very well. Our disappointment is that the fridge was not working and the property could improve by offering some glasses and cups as well as a few extra chairs. The staff are very nice.

The property was terrible, old and rundown. The maid did her best to prepare the room, the sheets and linens were clean. The bathroom is worn out and so narrow it’s difficult to get into the shower. The beverage center is an old metal filing cabinet, and in the bottom draw was an empty liquor bottle in a brown paper bag! The radiators didn’t work, but there was a wall mounted HVAC unit that heated the apartment. The previous reviews were not accurate and misleading. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and skip this property.

If you like overpriced, basic accomodation, NOT close to the main city centre, where ants decide to invade within 12 hours of you checking in, this is the place for you. Where they list photos of a water rich canal adjacent to the properly, and it has no water just mosquitoes. Where they’ve misspelt hotel, it should be spelt hostel. Must have got lost in translation. I checked out early due to the poor conditions, accepting they would probably not refund my money. I was right, there was no remorse. How they achieved the rating they did is beyond me. Buyer beware.

Our stay was everything we wanted and needed it to be. We booked two suites for New Years Eve. Very spacious. Comfortable beds - we had the best night sleep of during our 10-day trip in Italy. Easy to find. Convenient to our activities.

Highly recommended.

I spend a lot of time in Milan on business at our corporate headquarters in Trezzano. I like Corte Certosina because there are no hallways/ lobbys/ elevators and the rooms are spacious. It's an ancient building with the most recent plumbing, heating and insulated windows. Super clean. Incredibly convenient parking if you need it. Great little restaurants a short walk away: try pizza Vesuvio and Bacco e Arriana. The Osteria in the complex is also comfortable and quite good - especially nice if you are dining solo.

The place was great with a rustic decoration. The room I booked had two floors and it was very clean. Coffee and water were offered for free. The only down side was the checkout 10am or 10:30 max that’s a little too early

One night stay whilst driving past Milan

We wanted to spend a day in Milan whilst driving from Greece to th UK. The Hotel staff were very helpful re communicating and allowing us early access to our room and parking so we could catch the train (5 min walk to station) into the centre (1.80€ 15 mins). The original building is historic but has been refurbished very very well so you have the great blend of old with modern facilities. .The access off the road is through an archway right at the side of the road so you need to be looking closely for the entrance on the oneway street.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. They went out of their ways to accommodate our routine of leaving late, due to having young family. it takes longer to get ready for the morning out. It is very quiet and peaceful. It is very close the train station. I will recommend addition of tea to the free coffee the hotel provided, but I must say although not a coffee fan we did enjoy our morning free coffees!
