The property is nice, but could use some sprucing up. It is a notch below what we normally find in a Holiday Inn Express. I would stay here again as the staff was nice, and overall the place is good.

We booked the property because of the indoor pool. No where on the website did it indicate the indoor pool was closed. The hotel sent a message to me confirming booking and no where in the message did it indicate the pool was closed. The front desk person was extremely unhelpful and the hotel had excuse after excuse why they could not issue a refund (manager not on duty, their system was down, etc. ) I would not recommend and would never book here again

I was moving from Florida to NYC & I needed a hotel asap for some rest. This hotel was so clean, room was bigger than expected & staff were friendly. It was a smooth process I’ll always recommend this place!

The room was not the cleanest. There was a piece of the carpet that had been pulled up, there was mold on the shower head, and the carpet was soaked in one area upon arrival. It was definitely an okay place to stay for the weekend but wouldn't be back .

We got assigned a room with air conditioning not working, no bedding for sofa come bed, no phone in the room to call the front desk, no batteries in tv remote. After calling front desk from our personal cell phone, they told us that they cannot provide the bedding because they do not have any more. When we reserved the room, we had indicated number of guests so that should have not be surprise for the hotel staff. After calling corporate and spending an hour with customer service, we were assigned a different room. That room did not have hand soap in the dispenser and the drain in bath tub was clogged and slow to drain. Overall it was a pathetic experience for us. We trust Holliday Inn Express brand and this experience will make us think twice before making the reservation for future travel. We will definitely not be coming to this HIE property again.

Hate writing a negative review. But we would never stay here again. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the beds were comfortable and it was clean in our room. But the TVs in our room didn’t work, there was only one remote for 2 TVs (which didn’t matter since they didn’t work), the handle was falling off the bathroom door, linens for the pull out couch weren’t ready until 10pm and the pool was closed the whole 3 day weekend. Also, our room phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call the front desk. One front desk employee was nice and gave us a small discount for all the inconveniences. Breakfast was ok. The whole place needs to be remodeled. Can’t recommend this place.
