Staff were fine. The half eaten packet of chips on the bar in our room was off putting as was the lack of coffee pods. The room was grand. The bed comfortable. Steps up to the bathroom. Parking was miles away.

It was a lovely old heritage hotel but was a little sad no 24hr room service when the star had it down the road and they are all owned by the same company.

Incredible hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was insanely comfortable, there was a ton of outlets, the bathroom was spacious, the views were fantastic. The staff was *incredible* - kind, helpful, welcoming. I didn't have the breakfast, but I did have dinner in the bar and it was great. I have nothing bad to say - it was incredible.

Naomi at reception was beautiful Didn’t like the noises coming from other rooms Also fire alarm went off at 3.30 pm so we had to evacuate but all clear was given

Enjoyed a wonderful experience down memory lane, a beautiful heritage building with splendid interior decor, simply gorgeous rooms, spacious, with high ceilings, and a feel of home and comfort. Staff super polite and friendly and cleaniness thats gold star!

The hotel is in a very central location and the exterior of the building looks beautiful. However, the interior is in serious need of major renovations. Our room had water stains from previous water leaks, peeling paint in the bathroom, worn carpet throughout the hotel, musty smell and moth flying in the room. Definitely not a 5 star hotel!
