I recently stayed at the Red Roof in Norwich and was genuinely impressed. I previously stayed at the Hilton/Hampton nearby for nearly $200 a night, but this was half the cost and honestly a much better experience. The room was nicer, the property was well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for excellent value without sacrificing quality, this is the spot. 10/5 stars.

The manager of this hotel was amazing. Needed towels? No problem. Wanted a later check out? No Problem. He singlehandedly checked in three sports teams alone during out stay and it was amazing. The hotel is under repair but our room was beautiful!!!

Staff at check in was unfriendly, uncommunicative, and unwelcoming. Too bad because it was our 1st time at this hotel. 1st impressions matter! The room was good. Loved it here! My only complaint is breakfast. I think it would be better if you didn’t offer breakfast as to what was actually given. Juice and granola bars are breakfast for people in a rush.
