Overall it was a great place. The people the breakfast the grounds the entertainment and hummingbirds. We did not want to leave.

Room was clean, great location. The grounds were well maintained, beautiful view from our room. Spa was beautiful and relaxing, pool area was nice and clean. Overall would stay again and recommend to friends and family

The wifi was out the whole time. But, we loved the fireplace and the view of the river.

Our stay at Modern Mountain was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and accommodated our every need. We will definitely be back this was a great experience!!

Absolutely AMAZING staff. The front desk person was so helpful. She noticed our two rooms were far apart and changed them so they were two doors down from each other. I asked for sheets for the pullout and told them to go ahead and leave them while we were gone to dinner. When we arrived back they had made the pullout for me. Housekeeping told me they would request the late checkout, so I didn’t need to go to the front desk. Everyone was so extremely helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they were very clean. I will take quality service any day over a new pristine hotel, that charges for an early check in or checkout. It is on a main road, so if noise bothers you bring earplugs. Very happy we stayed there.
