El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Al lado de la estación central y a 15-20 min de Marinzplatz y otras atracciones. Los cuartos limpios y un buen desayuno. Pero la entrada al hotel es por un callejón sucio y huele mal. En las noches, había gente tomada o drogada por ahí. También hay un strip club al lado.

Very expensive and no amenities. No hair conditioner, no coffee maker in the room, weak air conditioning circulation, pillows horrible horrendous pillows that can cause a headache after not sleeping all night. Due to health conditions, we asked for a small coffee maker, so we could have a coffee early in the morning without having to leave the room, but it was denied to us. They don’t care about you, they care only about themselves and the money. The room didn’t look like the one we reserved, they said it was Expedias fault. 🙁. All of our hotels, we reserved them with Expedia, now we are very concerned about what is going to happen with the rest of our reservations 🙁. We paid lots of money for this hotel and for the other ones too.

50th break

We spent 4 nights in Munich. We couldn't fault the hotel it was very comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. Excellent breakfast. The area outside the hotel is rather seedy but handy to be near the main station to travel to other parts of the city We didn't eat locally and mostly went of an evening to the Marienplatz area. Would certainly recommend the hotel

This was a great place to stay the night coming directly from the Munich train station. Easy walk from train to hotel with many food options close by. The best part of the hotel was the swimming pool, which our 6 year old loved! We skipped the breakfast buffet as it was quite expensive and there are many cafes and bakeries close by.

Hotel was well positioned to the main train-station and i would say walkable into the town. It is also a bit back from the main drag so quiet enough at night. For me the check in process was very efficient and quick with the staff being friendly. Complimentry glass bottle of water for the room too, whats not to like?

The hotel itself is nice. Nice reception area. Our room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed, clean and roomy bathroom, wonderful shower with high water pressure. We had a refrigerator, but no coffee machine or water cooker. We requested a water cooker from reception and they delivered one to our room so we could make coffee/tea (but there were no cups so we drank it from the glasses in the room. The safe in our room (#216) did not work - we were disappointed in that. The hotel is located easy walking distance to the Hbf and the Viktualienmarkt and the pedestrian shopping street. The BMW Museum was accesible by the UBahn. Taxi from airport to hotel (before we knew about the UBahn) was VERY expensive. The area around the hotel was walkable but not nice (table dancing business and casinos nearby, as well as many people asking for money - sad). Breakfast at hotel cost more money than we wanted to spend - there are 3 coffee/bakery businesses within a 5 minute walk from the hotel and we enjoyed them!!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean there at the Maritim Munich. Water pressure and the A/C were strong. It’s directly across from the main train station which sure is convenient.

Superb stay - but dodgy area

Lovely large room with comfortable clean furnishings. Superb (if slightly expensive) breakfast. No kettle / coffee in rooms. Ideal location when arriving by train just minutes from the Hauptbahnhof through covered tunnel - sadly some undesirables frequent the area and not sure too safe at night.

I'd like to know what privileged lives people are leading, when they say the area around the hotel isn't safe. Munich is a big, multicultural city and the people in the area reflect that, but we never once felt unsafe, even when arriving back to the train station at 10pm with my 5-year old in tow. The convenience to the train station cannot be overstated - it's SO easily accessible which made day trips to Salzburg and Neuschwanstein a breeze. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure is *strong*, and they held our bags at the end of our stay for free. Honestly, I have very few negative things to say about our stay. Yes, the indoor pool is cold - but I'm inclined to think that's on purpose, for you to enjoy after the sauna (which we didn't use). Yes, we paid a nominal fee to check in early at 10am. But there was air conditioning AND an electric tea kettle in our room, so you won't find me complaining. All in all, this was an excellent value for the location, quality, and amenities.
