The hotel policy was stupid. Wanted to charge customers $25 a night for parking. That is really dumb never heard of a dumb policy. The water was shut off for about 4 to 8 hours when we checked in so no toilets and no sink. Elevator keeps on breaking down, so it’s very inconvenient to go up to the suites and down. Overall, the hotel and the maintenance people are just really not friendly and poor service.

Clean and friendly

Stayed in a Suite with ample space with a full kitchen, a table with barstools, a sofa and plenty of room. Very clean. Just a block from the Vanderbilt campus, and close enough to the Parthenon replica to get there on foot.

I’m think it was a great stay even thought it snowed that weekend but overall enjoyed myself. The only problem that I had was the heat was not working. We tried so many times to cut on the heat but it would not work at all. At one point we thought the air was on in the middle of the night but it cut right off. I would have said something but we didn’t feel like moving rooms. Hopefully they can get that fixed. Also, I couldn’t get new rags no matter how many times I’ve asked. But besides that, the room was clean.

I book this hotel as an emergency visit for my family and I, to see a love one that had been airlifted to the local hospital. My sister flew in from California and my brothers and I drove in from Illinois. I communicated with the staff at the front desk that I was still on the highway and I would be arriving by 2:30 am. I was told by the lady I needed to arrive by 3am or the room would be cancelled. I then added my sister to the reservation because she was arriving a little after midnight. When she arrived she waited 40min in the lobby alone, no one was at the front desk or answering the phone. Anyone could have walked in off the street and attacked her or gone room to room in the hotel knocking on doors totally unsafe. Once she was finally provided a key and the other family members arrived, again no staff to greet us or provide extra bedding. We walked in and went straight to the third floor. There were not enough towels to shower or bedding covers for the let out couch bed. We had to wait until morning for any assistance with additional room keys or bedding and towels. As women this is not the safest place to stay and no staff is available after midnight.

Nice stay, unexpected $50 parking charge ruined it

I booked through hotels.com and there was no mention of a charge for parking. The receipt they sent me also had no mention of parking and showed a total charge due at the property of $232.54. There was no mention of a parking charge when I checked in. However, at checkout, I requested a printout of the folio and saw a $50 parking charge, making the total bill $282.54. The desk clerk said she could not take the charge off my bill but a manager would call me and discuss it. So far, no manager call. The stay was okay but having an unexpected $50 charge hit me was NOT okay!

Convenient locations and a lot of close restaurants. Room was clean and breakfast was good. Staff doesn't acknowledge or greet guests when awaiting service at the front desk and there was two people working.
