The staff was so kind and supportive during our stay while the power was out in our home for six days they worked very hard to make sure we were comfortable . I appreciate them so much. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for stars for 2 reasons. With the storm and people having no power, this is obviously the reason so many people like myself needed a room. I asked for a later check out because I was trying to bathe and make sure my 11 year old bathed as well. All I asked was for an extra 30 min extra from 11am checkout, most places will allow you till 12 noon, but the manager told us no, 11am. We are in a state of emergency! Then came knocking at 10:50am! I’m trying to get ready and pack! Find out if I even need an extra night or 2! Just rude. Only him, everyone else were nice and UNDERSTANDING of EVERYONE’S situation! Also the free breakfast was cold and horrible. Waffle mix machine was broken, again someone helped us. Coffee was horrible too. But overall everyone but the manager were really nice and helpful during this time of emergency and need.
