This was our first time staying at a Sandal's and it will be our last. We had to chase down room service staff multiple times for toilet paper, wash clothes and coffee refills because they would clean the room but not restock it. They never took the dirty towels or glasses when cleaning the room. They should not say they have top self liquor, because they do not !!! If we wanted anything other then the house wine we had to pay $25 a glass at minimum. We could never get a chair at the beach or the pool. Maybe if we wanted to go down at midnight to stake one out we would have some luck. We were told by fellow guest that the only way to get chairs at beach or pool was to have a butler. Sad, we paid $7000 for this trip ...you want me to pay more to get a pool side chair. Rediculous. The beach area is tiny, we made an attempt at their private island. We tried to get a cocktail before we waited for the 3:30 boat back (last one was at 4 pm) we were told the bar closed early because the staff had to take the same boat we did, so everything was closed up. So we went to wati for the boat, when it got there staff got first privledge over all the guests, and we could not get on because that made th boat full. Total BS. We did take advantage of diving each day so we would have something to do. I do have to say the Dive shop employees were amazing. We did enjoy them. Its really sad the way this place is ran. It is NOTHING like what you see in the commercials.

Resort felt like a hotel vs a resort. The beds were very firm. Honestly the hardest bed I ever slept on. We switch rooms to ocean front hoping bed would be softer and it was not. The food was good and the private island was very nice. Shows at nights were lacking. Overall experience was just ok. I wouldn’t return to this property.

I was disappointed with my stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian. The staff did not come across as friendly or welcoming, which set the tone for the trip. Restaurant reservations were nearly impossible to get at a reasonable time, leaving us with very limited options. It also felt like unless you booked a butler room, you were treated as a lower priority, which really took away from the overall experience. For the price and reputation, I expected much better service and availability. Oceanfront view was not as advertised. It was more a partial view than oceanfront. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Sandals Royal Bahamian or any other Sandals resorts for that matter. The only shining stars of our trip were the athletic team of Kevin and Alycia. They were awesome!

Dining options were excellent and the food quality was good to very good. I was a little disappointed with the view from the room. It felt like of all the suites, we were given the least desirable. Staff was overall excellent and the value was really good. Just a heads up, transportation costs a lot.

Sandals Bahamian is terribly dated Repairs are needed everywhere, pools, island transportation boat, bathrooms, patios, restaurants, etc Rooms are musty and mildew smelling Outside staff are friendly and helpful Inside office staff are awful, not helpful, rude, and not accessible…even had a few hang up on me while talking. Brochures and web site indicate pristine conditions, do not be fooled

Beach was nice. Some staff were nice. Other staff didn’t seem very friendly. Slow in response . Room was outdated and in poor condition. Was shocked by how small the room was and how the balcony was shaped. Food was not good. Not fresh. Not what I expected for the price!

Didn’t have enough night life entertainment or excursions. Also found some of the bar tenders rude. Wouldn’t ask you if you wanted a drink for a while. Too busy getting drinks ready for the restaurant. Wouldn’t go back there
