This was actually a two part stay. Our first stay was very good. The room was clean, staff was great and the hotel was very conveniently located about a block or so from all the downtown events. You can literally park your car and walk everywhere. We did not partake in breakfast the first stay but heard people talking about how good it was. Two nights later was a complete flip flop. The temps got down into the 20s. When we walked into our room the air was on making it cold. We managed to get the heat turned on and went to bed. In the middle of the night the heat stopped working and the temp in the room eventually ended up in the morning to be 58. I threw on some clothes and went down to get some hot tea to warm up (I’m not a coffee person). No tea or hot chocolate. I’d have to go out in the cold to the coffee shop for that. Decided to partake in some hot breakfast. My eggs were cold. There was one person running around like crazy, cooking, cleaning, waiting on people, trying to find me some hot chocolate or tea bags. He was doing his best. Staff at the front desk offered me their own personal tea which I was very grateful for. We were checking out so it was too late to do anything about the heat in the room. I’d double think before booking here again.
