The Brown Hotel Staff were professional. The manager Mr. Curtis was helpful in addressing my concerns and assisted us with personal care, escorting us to areas and sharing historical knowledge of the facility. I had a reaction to the smell of mildew and immediately the staff accommodated me with a room change. Our (1X) $15 adult beverage was a nice treat. We enjoyed looking at the historic building of The Brown Hotel.

The Brown Hotel is a beautiful, old southern hotel. Due to its age, I am sure it will receive some poor reviews. And to be sure some updating could be done. Our mattress while still comfortable was obviously old. But this is a great experience because of the historic nature and beauty of the space, stay here if you get a chance and spend some time in the lobby and get transported back in time to how hotels used to be.

Beautiful, historic property with much grandeur and class. The team excels at customer service. They checked each day to make sure all was going well with our stay. Showing its age

Nice staff, and beautiful and elegant building. The rooms are showing their age, however. Frayed upholstery, chipped and marred furniture, and leak-stained walls and ceilings.
