The staff was amazing. When we arrived our room had a strong cigarette smell even though it's a no smoking facilty and they quickly moved us to a different room which was smaller, but more updated and we appreciated the upgrade. I also needed to print tickets to a show last minute and they were able to do that efficiently for me. The housekeeping staff was friendly. The shared bathrooms were plentiful on each floor and although staff was often cleaning them, somehow there's always someone's hair in the drain, or water splashed all over the countertop. It's just how it goes with shared space when not everyone takes as much care in keeping it nice or cleaning up after themselves, no fault of the hotel or staff. I do think it's worth mentioning that you'll want earplugs. I often stay in this area and expect heavy street noise, but this was the first time it felt like the windows were open because of how loud it was. I tripled checked and they were closed. Maybe they are super thin windows. Again, it's the city, so I expect it, but be prepared with your white noise phone app and earplugs.
