DON’T STAY HERE.
We arrived less than two hours after check-in began to find out that they did not have a room available for us - even though I booked and paid over a month in advance of arrival. The staff were smirking and giggling as we begged them to help us find a solution. After much back and forth with their rude staff, begging them to help me get settled into a room I had already paid for, they shared that they could transfer the reservation to their sister property if I provided a $100 deposit right then and there. Desperate for a quick solution, I reluctantly paid and we began our 1.2 mile walk over to the hotel, which Google said was the fastest due to rideshare and subway waits. He hauled all our luggage there, dripping in sweat, to find they had not received our transferred reservation and also had no room available. After a frustrating half hour, we were finally told they actually did have room for us after all.
My group missed the event we flew to New York for because we had to deal with this inconvenience which took up HOURS of our time. Their negligence, lack of reliability, and lack of care were devastating. The property has so far refused to provide any compensation to make up for this horrible experience.
