Room was clean and location was great. Two reasons I cannot give this resort a 5 star rating but really wish I could… the beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable. And the road noise was loud at night. A police and fire substation is one street down so you can hear the sirens and horns from the street. I’ve stayed at hotels with sound proof glass. The service desk and doorman were amazing! And I would recommend this hotel, just note the noise if you a light sleeper.

Felt more like a kind of better motel, not a hotel

I expected New York City to be expensive, but I really expected for the price per night the rooms and bathrooms would be a little better quality and cleaner. It felt more like a motel.

This hotel was clean with spacious rooms. My room view was a brick wall, however this turned out to be an advantage as there was no street noise at night. I was able to walk to all the popular places I wanted to visit (Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, ect). Overall, a 3-4 star hotel…nothing fancy but clean with pleasant staff.
