Overall a good hotel

The good: Great location close to Metro and Times Square and Broadway. Hotel room was clean and good size, breakfast was good but no variation, we were there 7 days and was same every single day. The not so good. Our room was at the back on the 9th floor, loud industrial fans good be heard constantly from ground floor. Long waits for lifts at peak times. Breakfast area is very congested at peak times. Hotel is not cheap to stay. The front desk staff could smile a bit more !

Staff was excellent, answered questions about the area clearly. Quickly filled empty coffee pots and responded immediately to room requests such as extra towels. Minimal noise from outside busy streets, comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. Would stay again.

The hotel was close to time square, subway stations and some broadway shows yet 1 block off from the noisy streets so it was overall quiet. Lobby and breakfast area were very small and a little congested but clean. Elevators were slow, so plan ahead. Nice front desk staff. Great concierge staff, he gave us advice about getting around NY and held our luggage before and after we checked-in so we could tour the city w/out dragging luggage around. Hotel is 1 mile from the pier for our a cruise and 3-4 blocks from the hop on/off bus line.
