We booked through Expedia and checked in without noticing any immediate issues. After returning from dinner, we discovered a blown-out outlet, blood on the sheets, a shower that got stuck on scalding hot, and a backed-up tub that wouldn’t drain. The whole place felt untrustworthy and nothing like the booking photos, so we decided to leave the next morning instead of staying for our second night.
At checkout, Yoko at the front desk told us to request a refund through Expedia. Expedia attempted to contact the hotel but got no response, ultimately saying they couldn’t process a refund. We then spoke with Adriana, the Assistant Manager, who initially agreed to refund us but later claimed she had no memory of the conversation and blamed us for not addressing the issues in person at checkout.
I’ve never experienced such dishonesty from a hotel. If you have the means, stay elsewhere.
