Room was cozy. A little noisy if you on the street side - but it is right near Broadway so to be expected. If you want to see lots of broad shows this is a place for you. That’s right in the heart of midtown. The 6.50 breakfast is great. Staff at front counter could be a little bit more helpful. But overall a good experience

The best part of our stay at Hotel Edison was the breakfast connected to two cafes and the vouchers we received upon arrival. The second best part was the door men and other man helping out with our bags, they were attentive and kind. Unfortunately though, our rooms thermostat didn’t work at all and the sever winter snow storm hit during our stay. We had one small heater in our room and through the day/night we had to crack our window open/close to control our rooms trip manually. We addressed the issue and the heater was treated like it was a normal issue. We also got a complimentary bottle of wine through Expedia but it took 3-4 times of us asking reception and calling to get it. We got a champagne bottle and only like red, our preference was never requested. Food was the best part but I wouldn’t consider that being completely from the hotel itself. Our bathroom was also severely small and we paid extra to not share it with another room.

Checking in was a disaster. First they gave me a key that would not work. Do I go back to the desk (after waiting in check in line again). Then they gave me a key to another room. Back to elevator and when I opened the door, there was a construction dumpster in the room. So back to check in counter for the third time. Finally got a room after going up and down the elevator and waiting in check in line. Not an enjoyable experience. The ac/heater did not work properly either.
