The hotel was wonderful. However check in was not great. It took about 45 minutes in line to check in. Other than the check in everything was great! Free breakfast was great! Very safe and in time square. Staff was super friendly fly and helpful.

This is a nice facility in a location convenient to Broadway, but I disagree with some management decisions. For example, the front desk is understaffed during check-in and housekeeping knocked on my door 1.5 hours before checkout to see if I was leaving early, which disrupted my ability to sleep in, shower, and use the room I had paid for. If they need to know who checks out early, they can figure out a way for the front desk and housekeeping to communicate directly with each other without bothering the customers.

Realized the AC Unit did not work within an hour of checking and asked maintenance to come fix it 3 times but they never came and we had to sleep in a very hot room. The bathroom in our connecting room had an issue with the toilet and couldn’t flush properly so we heard the water running in there all day and all had to share one bathroom (again maintenance never came). Also expected a mini fridge was surprised to see there was not one.

This tranquil, clean, classic hotel is in the heart of Midtown. The free breakfast perk is a great way to start the day. The location is convenient for all of the theaters and catching a subway to Uptown or Downtown. Being right off Times Square can be a plus or a minus, depending upon your tolerance for crowds, noise, flashing lights, and general zaniness at all times of the day except for the mornings. The hotel itself and my room were very quiet and comfortable, though. I slept really well.

Great hotel and location. Breakfast was good and complimentary. Also enjoyed the complimentary walking tour. Right in time square, was able to grab show tickets with a one minute walk and then get to theatre with a 5 min walk. Enjoyed having 3 restaurants onsite, which was convenient.

We opted for the early check-in for an additional fee. We were placed in a 6th-floor room that was outdated. The noise from the street was loud. The breakfast options at the hotel were good, but the menu was very limited when using the vouchers. Carve, where you can get free food with the vouchers, was not good in my opinion. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Wonderful hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are larger than you will find in other comparable locations. Close to the metro, easy to walk anywhere. Food options from the hotel were great - very generous portions at a reasonable price for guests. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Very clean and we were made to feel very welcome. We will be back!!!

We were in walking distance from a lot of Broadway shows and half a block from the middle of times square. There is security at the entrance and you must use a room key to go up the elevator. There is a complimentary breakfast and restaurant on site. We had wine and bottled water in our room at no additional cost. The price was very reasonable for the location and the amenities.

Room was made everyday, but the cleaning cart always park outside of my room. I dont know why the staff dont put it away. Poor noise blocking from both outside and inside. Staff didnt provide a bottle of wine everyday as a gold member status should recieved. Early check in is available but cost 89 USD. The toilette is very old that cannot flush properly. However, i suppose this is not a bad deal as it is at the center of the time square and if you are using this hotel for sleeping.

Hotel Edison was great. Beautiful art Deco styling… lovely 1940’s music played in the lobby/elevators and outside. Really gave us a feel of ‘old’ Manhattan NYC 2 restaurants inside and a comedy club/music bar. We did have a problem with our first room. It had an unacceptable damp odour and extremely noisy a/c unit. After the first night, the hotel receptionist changed rooms for us without any problem. Good hotel, very central to everything. Very efficient friendly staff. Thankyou
